Promoting the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg in the German Centres of LBBW
Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut and Matthias Heuser, Head of International Business of Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (LBBW) and Managing Director of the German Centre group, introduced the new promotional concept of Baden-Württemberg „Frachtkistenpost BW“ (Freightbox BW) to the public on Monday, 19 February.
The whole diversity of Baden-Wuerttemberg as a location for export, mechanical engineering, research and development as well as tourism is displayed in the freight boxes. They will be exhibited in the German Centres of LBBW in Beijing, Mexiko City, Moscow and Singapore.
The freight box offers not only information about Baden-Wuerttemberg - you can enter the boxes and touch and play with the exhibits of famous brands of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
In 22 single shelfs, you can see an aircraft seat by Recaro, a teddy bear by Steiff, an endoscope made by Karl Storz, an ExoHand from Festo, a chainsaw made by Stihl, clothes designed by Hugo Boss, a model of a Porsche, a Mercedes star, a 3-D model of the Sobek house, and many more.
As the German Centres act as showcase for products and services "made in Germany" and have visitors from 4,000 up to 10,000 people monthly, "we could not pass the opportunity to promote Baden-Wuerttemberg with this idea of the freight box", said Minister Hoffmeister-Kraut. As four of the worldwide six German Centres belong to LBBW, the connection to Baden-Wuerttemberg and its companies is very strong.
